How was your Amazon Prime Day in July this year?
Prime day was INCREDIBLE! I was quite literally shocked. I had 3X more sales than last year. I had no idea I could reach as much sales as I did. I definitely attribute this to URLgenius links and I couldn’t be happier! I can't wait for Prime Day in the fall!
We love hearing that! So, when did you start your journey to become an influencer?
My presence on social media has been pretty active since 2013 but I became an affiliate influencer in July of 2022. Sometimes I was so bored being a stay-at-home mom of two babies. I wanted so badly to do something I loved while helping others, and this 100% does it for me!
What do you love about being an Amazon influencer?
I love being able to do what I love - sharing the things I find and love on Amazon which is the shopping platform people use the most. I engage with EVERY single follower I possibly can. Having strong bonds with your followers is literally the most satisfying part of this job. Being a stay at home mom, it gets lonely. I have thousands of online besties now!
Before using URLgenius, did you view being sent to the web login as a problem?
Yes!! I definitely saw this as a problem because most people just don't login that way. I think this is because when the link doesn't open the app they think it's either spam or a link to a scam or people simply don’t remember their password. URLgenius links go directly into the app which has been a game changer and my members have given me amazing feedback about it.
When did you realize that opening the Amazon app from social media would help you earn more?
I always had a feeling it would happen! I wasn’t surprised at all because most people hate logging in that way! It's better than clicking the link and copying and pasting the item name to enter into the app to search of it. For me as an influencer it's important that the link opens the app ensuring my affiliate tags are passed and the cookie window is set so that proper credit is given to the sale.
How much has URLgenius increased your commissions in general?
It has absolutely increased my commissions at least 2X and maybe 3X. It’s a little hard to tell due to the increase in members in my group gets daily.
Amazing! How would you characterize the influencer business today? Any advice for new influencers?
I personally believe it’s an amazing business with tons of potential! It does take a TON of work to get to a point where you’re actually making significant income. 150% effort and consistency is needed at all times. This isn’t a “get rich quick” kind of business. My advice to a new influencer would be to be supportive of other influencers and find your passion and calling. You don’t need to copy what other influencers do— just do your own thing! Pick up on methods bigger influencers use and mold those amazing ideas into your own! You’ll find your own rhythm and then take off. Try new methods, switch things up, constantly network with other people! Speaking will take you further than staying quiet! Be YOURSELF! People will get to a point where they will literally want whatever you have because they trust YOU! They like YOU! So be original!
Such great advice! Tell us about the audience that follows you and why they like your product recommendations.
My audience consists of mostly mamas, new moms, seasoned moms, grand moms, etc. I have made this catered to mamas because thats the niche I felt most fitting in. I first began promoting deals for breast pumps since I was an exclusive pumping mom, and I felt so much compassion for mamas who were plugged into a wall at all times. I was able to help hundreds and thousands of moms get wearable breast pumps they never knew they could afford, and some didn’t even know they existed! 😳 From that moment, I just knew this is where I belonged. At home, browsing the internet, helping moms! I believe my followers know that I don’t recommend junk. I would never personally share items that I wouldn’t purchase myself. I have been transparent and genuine from day one.
What does a typical day look like for you?
WORK WORK WORK! I am a work-a-holic! Haha, but in all seriousness— I do take my work very seriously, and probably should take more breaks. But like they say, when you do what you love, you don’t work a day in your life (or something like that) that is 100% the truth! I spend time with my kids, go out a couple times a week to parks or shopping. But we have a pretty consistent routine going so I can make sure I get my work done!

Apart from earning more commissions, what else do you like about the URLgenius platform?
I like that I will potentially also use it with the Mavely the influencer netork. This is the second most used platform for me and I hope you all can perfect linking with them too!
What do you like about URLgenius reporting?
I love to see how many clicks the individual links get. It helps give me a good idea of what my members like!
Would you recommend URLgenius to other influencers?
Absolutely 100% and I already have!
